Smokey's tests results came in and he doesn't have cancer!! Yaye! Thanks again for all the love.

Smokey-The Update

Thank you all for your kind words and your thoughts for my boy. I brought him home Thursday night, with a shaved head and one less tooth. Unfortunately, he did not have a good first night home, he seemed to be in pain as he was unable to lay down and get comfortable. He was up all night pacing and whining. He also had diarrhea. So it was not a good first night. I stayed home from work on Friday to be with him and he wasn't much better on Friday. However, today he is doing a lot better. I should have the test results back in a week. Here's a picture of him with his shaved head. He looks so mad.

I Need You!

My beloved Smokey has a tumor on top of his head. He is going to have surgery to have it removed on the 20th. He is turning 11 on the 16th.

Please send him your good thoughts. Please. He's my baby and I'm not ready to say good-bye just yet.

And now for the details. I found a growth on his head, the doctor took a sample and said it's definitely a tumor and has to be removed asap. So once they remove it they will have it tested to find out if it's benign or malignant and make sure that they got it all.
