It's a great day to be alive!!

I got a new job within my company. I can't even tell you how happy this makes me. I got a job that is not sales related and I'm still with my company. I'm very happy.

Last night we celebrated my mom's birthday. We had a nice dinner and a lot of laughs. Unfortunately, they were all at my mother's expense. My poor mom. She gets her sayings mixed up and they always come out wrong. She was telling us what a wiz she has become with her texting. She told us that she even uses explanation points, commas and periods. We all erupted with laughter and then laughed even harder at the fact that she didn't know that they're actually called exclaimation points. It was too funny.

Also, I found a costume for Rocky. Tell me how cute is he? If you can't guess, he's Dracula.

Also, I love the fall. My one year old nephew says my name now, even though I've never heard him, my brother swears he says it. School is also going incredibly well.

Oh and I almost forgot, thank you Dutchie for reminding me that I had to take a picture of my TP that I won from Marty's contest. Here's the next best thing to a picture of me, my boys with the TP.

I hope that you are all doing fabulously well.

Updates

It's been a crazy couple of weeks. The tapeworm is gone. Thankfully. Today I had a massage, awesome. School is crazy. I've been very busy. Last night I saw the movie Invincible, it was kind of long, but it was pretty good. Not as good as Little Miss Sunshine, but not bad.

I'm going to do something in October that I said I would never do. I'm going to dress one of my dog's in a Halloween costume. Now wait, hear me out on this one. Petsmart is having what they call Tricks for Treats on the Tuesday before Halloween. People get to dress up their pets and then the pets get treats for doing tricks. Hence the name, Tricks for Treats. I swore when I first got Smokey that I would never, ever dress my pets up. However, my sister in law is going to bring my niece and nephew down to see all the pets dressed up, so I decided that I would dress up ONE of my dogs. Although, I considered dressing up both of them, one as a devil and one as an angel. Smokey would be the angel and Rocky would be the devil.

However, I decided that if I'm going to dress up a dog, I'm only doing one and that will be Rocky. I'm going to dress him in a costume that is perfect for him. He's going to be a Bad Dog. Take a look. Cute huh?
Anyway, there isn't a whole lot else going on right now. Nothing new or exciting to report.

Any other suggestions for what I could dress Rocky up as for Halloween?

Question

Have you ever farted with such force that you were lifted off the bowl?

Marty I would like to hear your thoughts especially.

Smokey And The Tapeworm

And no that's not the name of a children's book. Smokey has tapeworms. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

The segments of the tapeworm break off and he poops them out. Absolutely disgusting. Worms are extremely contagious among dogs. So, I had to treat Smokey for worms AND Rocky, even though he's not pooping out little flattened pieces of rice.

Did I mention how gross this was? This is just so gross. I can hardly deal with it. I just feel so bad for Smokey. He's a trooper. He'll be just fine. However, I will be having nightmares about this disgusting things forever. Well, until the next gross thing comes along.

That's all I have to say on this topic. I promise not to be so gross next time.

What I Did On My Summer Vacation

Nothing. I worked. I got a puppy. But other than that. I did absolutely nothing. That's not as glamorous as it sounds. Trust me on that one. Sure, I sold my house and closed on it, but I didn't really do anything meaningful.

And now, the summer is over. I start school on Tuesday. Did I mention that I'm going to school? I'm working on my Master's degree. Very exciting I know. I'm sure that there will be more to come on this. However, if I don't visit your blog everyday, please understand that I'm working 50 hours a week, taking two classes and taking care of my two dogs. Please don't be insulted, I still adore you and will come see you as soon as I can! Also, keep in mind that I may be reading your blog, but not commenting.

Anyway, there is absolutely nothing exciting going on here. I hope that you are all having a very happy Labor Day!!
